Toddler
Circle Time—engage in reading a book, story telling, singing, enjoy group activities
Puzzle Activity—develop hand eye coordination, thinking skills, matching shapes, size, colors and learning patterns, builds confidence through illustration. Encourage teamwork
Arts and Crafts—kids safe plexus framed mirror–children see their reflection Allow children to identify and name their features they observe, display emotions and enhance children self esteem through reflection. Lacing beads, hand molding, play dough, drawing and pasting. Library time quiet time for reading and reflecting on the daily activities, lunch and quiet time, nap time.
Language Program–consist of reading book and tape stories, children songs for toddlers, rhymes, stories, dramatic play; enhanced role-play for toddlers who love to play house, school, store etc.; pretend play kitchen, grocery and house, clean up time. (toddlers learn how to clean up after themselves and practice organizing skills)
Two year old
Circle time—enhances group discussion and story telling sing along songs. Discovery Two follow directions of care provider, learn new skills, ideas and new discoveries, the curiosity stage, ask many many questions, explorative, time for making connections and new friends, develops new interest, learn with direct
supervision and training.
Pre Kindergarten
Circle Time—This age group begin to accept responsibility, begin the day with instruction and theme and give feedback on the daily routines. Literacy and language provides age-appropriate books for reading and discussion writing activities to build mechanical skills, create a learning environment structured to promote reading and thinking, promote receptive and expressive language. Hands on learning puzzles and rhyming words, teach important pre reading skills.
Dramatic Play—Children learn kitchen play and dress up/make up play.
Arts and Crafts—Create and draw using own imagination, work from craft kits
Reading—Engages young readers, develop self-confidence and fun with reading and excitement, select young reader favorite books that compliment their reading and communication skills and reading on their own.
Math—Encourage children to learn math concepts and their understanding of problem solving, numbers, shapes, patterns weights, balance and measurements
Science—Science center includes magnets, tools for measurement, nature, horoscope, magnifying glass, growth chart, plants, animals, weather, seasons, planet.
